First car I was able to afford was a K reg Ford Fiesta. Cost just under £1000 to buy....the insurance was £1200 Third Party  Changed it after about 8 months and ended up with a V reg Micra. Still got it after about 2+1/2 years, although possibly looking to change it for a Clio shortly after holidays in August.

it was reliable enough for me to trust it to drive to promise and start it at 4am.. i left the club before the lads and drove it in front of foundation. they all got in, i turned around and went up the uphill road (little shitty thin road that used to be in front of fundie before they started building on it?) with 4 people in it started struggling.. in 2nd gear.. and then just died.. full tank of petrol too :(

but we got it going again :D my heart sank though.. wrong place/time etc..

can't remember how, i think we asked lee to push :D

First car was, ooooh, Primera 1.6. Thrashed it, a civic, a 405, and a Volvo to death in 18 months. Working hard on my Alfa now :D

Never crashed though in 60k miles, touch wood.
