    once had a 1.0l micra pull up never me at traffic lights years ago when car was standard colour and rims...he laugh saying i was sad to do up a maestro

    Tesco insured me for £1300. Was getting quotes for like £4k at first!! :eek: Crazy stuff

    No, 3rd party, fire and theft. Was risky not getting it, with me just passing, but luckily I didnt need it :)

    Sound... i was paying £1400 for third party fire and theft on a 1.6 8v fiesta so you got a good deal there!

    Its funny actually my second car was a 1.6 16v corsa sport which i got tax free in Germany with 2 years free insurance. I had it for 2 years from age 18-20 (with no claims) and when i went to insure it after the free insurance no-one would insure me cause it was group 12 insurance and you have to be 21 :evil: :spangled:
    I'd only driven it for 2 years beforehand...

    Mine was group 12 too I think. I must have just missed that rule then, cos I passed my test on my 21st b'day :D

    Im paying loads - i think anyway!!!

    Fully comp on the Mini Cooper, costing me £1400 with Norwich Union Direct.

    Saying that I have only had me license since October and am under 25 so s'pose not too bad??

    Did you shop around on line Bri? I got mine thru a company on Confused.com and the company Im with halfed the other quotes I got. This is on the Clio tho. Only costing £240 :D :D

    COnfused.com i tried that yeagh - couldnt get anywehre close...everywhere else was over 2k...i was cacking, cos i never started looking till day before i picked up me car :blush: :lol:

    i think thats quite dear, i passed when i was 21, my car is a Group 14 insurance and fully modded and i paid £1084 for the first year

    i now pay £500 for fully comp
