sounds like crasher. if i was a promoter i would please myself ppl vote with their feet. if it didnt work, then i might change....
or just the music snobs in crasher! not the whole club! every club has music snobs i reckon...just the crasher ones seem to make a fuss about more things makin crasher seem snobby!
i dont think the problem is ppl not liking the dj, its the (significant) crowd that said dj will attract that will be the problem.
only us tho. cos we are all know what we like now. i like trance dave likes cheesy HH u like random yoji, ASYS, psy trance stuff. etc etc.... so we are moning when it isnt on. but ill still go and listen to other stuff.
for one night only can will it not harm us if we mingle wif the common uneducated, beer lovin, ikon folk....u never know, there might be some harmless ones who enjoy promise so much wif pearce on they come back the next week (when say someone like dalek is on) and find they actually enjoy it....therefore turnin into promise regs
have to agree with u there a month ago i would have loved for mr pearce to play at promise just cause it would be diffrent but now i have realiesed promise have built up such a reputation that for there sake cant be ruined and would have to say dave pearce at promise naa promise is a well respected club and dave pearce would only harm its reputation! leave him at escape in swansea or ikon everywhere where he belongs cause have to say he is deffo no suited to promises direction!!! p.s smartie harcore is dead soo there!!
