    harping on about the ps3 being so much better is pointless.

    for one its going to be 1year from the xbox release, so it fucking should be superior.. however if anyone has read enough reports on it. from people who know what they are talking about.. then they would see lots of drawbacks.

    the xbox 360 is built around hardware that mimics a lot of pc builds. which means its easy to program for and developers have a good starting point.

    ps3 will be good yeah, but dont get too excited cos its going to provide nothing new. if uve seen xbox live in action on the 360 u would see its a step in the right direction. sony are opting out of their own online system and leaving it to the developers. which i think is pretty shite.

    it will be nice..
    but dont get too excited about something uve never even seen in action. any videos were done on pc systems and at a recent games expo sony showed nothing new from their last visit.

    plus the system has shit spiderman text on it and it looks wank :)

    yeah but if they can make something as good as the psp so small now, in a year there ps3 is gonna be ubelievable i reckon.

    The PSP has turned out to be a white elephant anyways - an incredible system with loads of variety....... and the best game for it is Everyones Golf!!! (And a rehash of Grand Theft Auto if that floats your boat).

    The Nintendo DS is piddling over it right now - with a massive list of highly rated games.



    Not sure what this discussion about the XBOX and the PS3 is for anyways - sure the PS3 might have the advantage of a load of really good franchises behind it, but XBOX Live in the new 360 is nothing short of amazing.... the PS3 will have NOTHING like this at all.

    Either way.... just buy both - this whole brand/console rivalry thing is very 'playground' ;)

    why will it be having supply problems? because the demand is outstripping supply?

    as for the psp being so fantastic.. hmmm.... ive played most games on it and the only game that keeps my busy is everybodys golf. grand theft auto was ok but then i realised it was no different to the ps2.

    please dont fool yourselves with brand names, i imagine a lot of u guys limit ur ps2 collection to a few key games, most likely ISS soccer, grand theft auto... and erm.. either prince of persia or maybe final fantasy or summin.

    if you give other consoles a chance u would realise a lot of things. The ps3 is looking shit to me so far. I remember when i was desperate for the ps2 and its "emotion engine" which was supposed to provide insanely great looking games... yeah so the grass swayed in tekken? fucking hell im in 2050. nah i dont think so.

    ignore the hype people. Playstation is a brand name. people will buy regardless. but anyone with any sense would realise that there are alternatives that are very worthy of a purchase
