Im aint doing nee survey or owt just seeing if peeps really go for the DJ's (if they haev a clue bout music) or if they just go too see there mates and have laugh n a bit crack/natter

but my point was kiddy that its good to have the freinds there aswell as the tunes.

Dunno really. Cant say Promise has ever booked a dj i really actually dislike. Come to think of it ive never really had a bad night in there. Maybe a few times cos i was tired or too battered but never really cos of the set played. To me its a total fuckin release at the end of a weeks work and as long as i get some reasonable quality trance/prog/techno/hard trance im pretty happy.

Sometimes i go when a dj aint really to my particular taste eg Anne Savage, Kerry James, Rob Tissera etc and still end up havin a wikkd night. Partly cos of the people and atmosphere but also cos although not my favourites, i have still enjoyed sets by all of the above in the last few months.

Sometimes the nights i go is dictated by what friends are up to. Like i wont be plannin on goin because im not up for seein a particular dj but then some of me mates are goin so i tag along cos i dont wanna miss out. On the other side of this, i will sometimes come along by meself if its a dj i really wanna see and none of me mates want to go.

It depends who it is if it is a big name DJ who I don't like NO. If it is some well talked about 'new talent' then I would give it a shot.

The new talent that would pull me in at the moment would be people like Petra Foy & Adam Sheridan.

im just a follower with no taste or attitudes of my own, i go to promise coz i love the people more that the shindig ponces but i do my thang to funky and although i highly regard trance hard bosh ect i feel since i have become reformed i am into it less.
