    That would be K2/Klute...cracking night out :lol: I think it did actually get into FHM's worst 100 bars in the country at one point.

    The bars definitely are picking up. Fair enough there are some dives, in fact quite a few....but there are enough decent places that more than make up for it. Still yet to try out Chase which opened just recently. Some of the pubs are cracking too...especially in the summer when the beer gardens are open.

    I ended up going here one Wednesday night with one of my friends for her birthday. Majority of places we tried were shut so we kinda ended up in here. In total, there was about 5 of us in there....me, my friend and the bar staff. And then Ricky Martin started blasting out. Don't even think I finished my drink.

    Last time I was out in Durham, Klutes was one of their 2 "clubs". It's where I ended up unfortunately. Expensive drinks, crap music, tiny tiny tiny place, toilets were either down a stupid staircase or over the 10meter x 5meter stupidly crowded dancefloor and up a different stupid staircase.

    Also the steps which you go down by the bridge to get to it are dangerous! Well no, they're dangerous at the end of the night, when you're a bit worse for wear :rolleyes:

    Damn right! I havent been down for a while...now u mention it i might go down this bank holiday monday! After Godskitchen and tt if i go...hardly 'chillin out' after a mad weekend though...Its so funny looking at all the people though :D

    :lol: THREE CLUBS.....WE HAVE THREE CLUBS! :lol: and they're all utter gash... Small clubs have the best atmosphere...you couldn't get turned on the dancefloor without managing to grope someone, well that was my excuse anyway.;)

    as a venue liquid is spot on, and to be fair, ive been there a few times before smile on a monday and ive found it to be perfectly respectable.

    i do recall it being slightly worse in the past, but last time i was there it was fine. and it boasts one of the best systems in the city. :)

    (which will be used to it's full extent no doubt when Twisted Logic is on there.... ;) )
