hasn't hargreaves only played 3 games since coming back from 9 months of injury or something?

the only reason i can see him in there is if sven plans to start carrick, therefore hargreaves is his backup. i suppose hargreaves is versatile, if unspectacular, but better than phil neville...

i'd rather have barton/nolan/reo-coker/cattermole :)D) in ahead of him and jenas but the squad would look far too inexperienced with even more uncapped players in there.

Im not against the Walcott selection.

Take out Owen and Rooney and the rest of the strikers are just journeymen. Gotta be worth a gamble even if its just for the bench. Sven and Arsene must have both see something.

Nolan should be in the squad rather than Jenas. Wes Brown too, ahead of Campbell.

I always think David James shouldnt be there, but then i realise there are only 5 teams in the Prem who have an English first-choice keeper. Robert Green always looks fat to me too.

    Like the Lennon selection.

Dont look the strongest squad but what else can u do when you have key members injured. Shame Scott Parker is still unfit

Kirkland always crocked too and lot his place to Kuzczak. James is a good keeper but make to many blunders.

Hargreeves has been a form player for bayern towards the end of the season. He's a good player and i think the reason he gets so much stick is the fact nobody see's him week in week out and when he does play for England he isnt given a chance to establish a role.

Although that dont show how consistently he does that, the boy done good by looks of things!!

Could be onto a winner there if he dont buckle under the size of the stage!!

i think if he gets himself sorted other teams will prey on the fact his foot was fooked and try to do it again

aye, it would be a cuntish thing to do, and you'll get players who will try and do it.

although theo is a gamble after seeing his pace for southampton and his quick turns i reckon he will pay off against the smaller teams and hopefully give him something to gauge himself on for the bigger teams. either way hes gonna get thrown in at the deep end this world cup so we'll have to wait to see how good he can swim
