Simon - you dont need to spend much mate for a basic wireless network...

Get 2 USB wireless adaptors from ya local pc store (£19 each I paid) plug 1 into each pc...

Within a few mins you'll be up n running...cheap as chips.

plug the cable into 1 of the pc's.

get a usb wireless adaptor for each

set pc with cable to share its net connection

set the gateway/dns for each of the other pc's to the ip of the pc with the cable

    bobs ya uncle!

as many as u want as well - jus bear in mind you have 2mbit divided by however many ppl....more ppl hammering it = less speed for every1.

what u cud do, to make it fair, was to limit the bandwisth available to each pc...jus divide 2048k by however many ppl r using it and limit to that :)

I just found this bit of info off the web site that I bought from - broadbandbuyer.co.uk

ADSL Wireless Routers can only be used on all BT ADSL Broadband Service via copper telephone lines - All UK and Channel Islands ISP's are compatible (excluding AOL, who use their own proprietary authentication methods). Wireless ADSL Routers are five products in one - a high-performance ADSL modem, Ethernet Switch, Router, 54Mbps 802.11g wireless access point, and True Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall.

Broadband Wireless Routers or Wireless Cable/DSL Routers are similar to ADSL Wireless routers expect they don't have built-in modems and are mainly used with Cable Modem broadband where the Ethernet modem is supplied by your ISP. They must be fed the internet connection via Ethernet so I'm afraid they can't be used with ADSL USB modems, though some routers can be used on ADSL Broadband with a separate ADSL Ethernet Modem.

So...what I bought is of no use to you since it is for a BT line. You will only need a wireless broadband router. Should be a bit cheaper for you anyway
