my opinion is that chelski are using romans millions just to stop people buying good young players not players they want but players they dont want tams like man utd to have mikel had all but signed for man utd then suddenlt changed his mind and its funny how they after adu now when fergusan trailed him for a couple of years now.

as soon as the wage limit structure comes in i think it will be a better and fairer game tbf:D

never gonna happen. its against the law for one.

you cant blame the players for having money, the fact is football is marketable and people will always pay through the nose for it.

america is a completely different nation with different laws regarding sport.

jimmy hill helped to abolish the wage cap in english football and the pfa wont just let a reverse happen. i think italy will have lots of problems implementing a salary cap as its against european law... you cant have one rule for one profession and a different rule for another... all it takes is one player taking it too a european court, look at bosman, simutenkov, balog etc and the current action by charleroi... football cannot be deemed different to other jobs and in england that will hold up.

yeah but is crap at this rate we wont a leahue for much langer a competitive one chelsea then 4 teams behind them and the rest dragging 20 points behind.

or the other way we can look at it and taht is if other teams get their act together and play as a team to close the gap man utd did with youngster years a go time for another team i think

a salary cap wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing... its just difficult to implement, plus the clubs and sponsors would find new ways of getting money to players through bonuses and deals... if a cap was introduced its possible the best players could be lured to countries that didn't have a salary cap thus damaging the game further.

the best thing to do is for clubs to nurture players at the academy stage and for the governing bodies to limit the role of agents, 3rd parties and hangers on who are the real people damaging the game.
