Why would you only want to sell half of your grounds capacity of season tickets? It's only because they knew they wouldn't be ble to sell more than that. Are you trying to say you couldn't get a season ticket at the start of the season because they had all sold out?

There's always some stupid scam going on with giving tickets away. They were doing a deal in schools all the way from Chester-le-street to South Shields where if a kid bought a ticket then the adult could go free. There's loads of things like that going on all the time, you always hear about them, surely you have aswell?

No we had a spare boring Sunday afternoon so went to a football match hoping to see one of the bigest upsets ever! Nothing wrong with that in my book

From what I understand thats what was done. There was an explanation, but I dont know what it was. Seemed daft to me, I would try and sell as many as I could!

Who knows - maybe it was all a publicity stunt!

I have heard about tickets being reduced and SOME given to school' sin the past - but i certainly haven't heard that over the last couple of years...

I couldn't tell you - but from the crowd's we get now, i would say 80-90% are season ticket holders so I very much doubt they still give too many away.

We might be in trouble tbh, but hopefully Freddie + The Halls would just have to stop taking there stupid massive pay cheques and diviends, and put them back into the club, because they don't really need them. I'm pretty sure we would be ok. There's alot worse teams in the Prem than us, so I'm not worried about going down. We have enough quality on the sidelines to be doing good when they come back

Fat freddie and the hall's dont care about your club - they only care about their money, so I doubt very much they would help too much - they would probably bail!!

There are a lot worse teams on paper yeah - but they are picking up results when you aint? You must be worried...

Ive been to most away games this season and we always sell are away tickets to?

So your talking shite about the only reason we got is because we have bought are season tickets.

It's a bit like buy this item now, only a handful left, when really they've got thousands! It was bullshit, and you know for a fact!

Well your crowds aren't very good to start with, so that may well be the case. I certainly can't see many fans buying tickets for the remaining matches bar our game, can you?

I don't think Sir John Hall would let us turn into Leeds, his son might, but I don't think he'd let it happen. As for FFS I honestly think he loves the club, you can see it when he talks about us. He's backed the manager's all he way, and you can't argue with that.

I'm not worried, because even though Souness is shit, and will most likely go in the sumer, I just think we've got too much quality to go down

I think the fact is that we would BOTH have about 20-30,000 hardcore going regardless of how we are doing.

It's always been the case, no?

You's are still riding on the Keegan "success" wave - but once that drops...things will be back to normal? You wont always get 52,000 if you aint doing well...ppl will stop buying season tickets (like they did this season!) slowly but surely the glory boys will move away..

Well that question can't really be answered, but just because of the sheer size of our fanbase I'd think we would do alot better in terms of fans through the turnstiles

I wouldn't be too sure - John Hall has no say now tho does he?

You have too much quality on paper, but what if they dont perform, like they haven't been? Or u get more injuries?

All assumptions. Your bigger fan base is made up of GLORY supporters still living in keegan era....they will drift away if you got relegated for example. Your real fans would be the one's turning up.

    Yeah, true.

I don't think it's the case of Keegan anymore though. He helped us into being a massive club where we have a hell of alot of diehard fans like Man City for example where if we were to go down, we'd still have a massive amount of supporters. Everyone in Newcastle and in a massive area around us suports Newcastle now, and that wouldn't change! We're not at the same level as when Ossie + Jim Smith wer in charge, we are an absolutley massive club worldwide now!

He's the President! He still has shares in the club with his son!

I still think we'll get the 14 points required which will be even less because of yourselfs being the worst team in Premiership history beating your previous record
