I'm not surprised about that at all.

    FAO: Everyone else

Do you actually know the manifesto of the parties you have voted here or are ya just being sheep and voting for what ya think other people would vote for?

I wasn't saying that you didn't have an opinion i just wondered if peeps actually knew what the parties stood for.

And as Kerry said she hasn't voted cause she doesn't know, which personally i think is quite sensible.

thing is joe, im making a point of finding out what all the parties stand for coz come next year i will be voting, and i will want to make sure i vote for the best party IMO, its not a case of me being unsure, i dont feel i have the right to decide what the country does, as im not aware of all the different parties values. i am trying to find out b4 i make my mind up, i dont want to make a decision that ill regret, i want to be sure b4 i vote.

As one of my old friends used to say, "If voting changed anything it would be illegal"! I certainly think that whoever is in power makes very little difference to what goes on, particularly in this country. In the countries where it would make a difference, it is either illegal or dangerous to vote for the opposition party (eg Zimbabwe).

Thats why i think people who dont know what they are voting for shouldn't vote. I'm not saying they dont deserve to but i think you should atleast know the basic manifesto of each party so you can make an informed decision. Cause if we just vote for the sake of voting something like that cpould happen again.
