fair enough, you dont like promise and nver did. just like were saying promise on its day was better than GG, its an opinion, it doesnt need facts and figures or even your beloved awards. its a preference

no i dont love the awards, i was just asking for a reason as to why you thought promise was better as you never gave one initially !!!

    like i did !!

you just slated me for asking a perfectly reasonable question

fair enough i knew what the response would be like but im new and trying to see which ppl i get on with and which i dont

i dont really give a fuck if you like me or not because i know 100% that some ppl will and i wll be able to get on with them no probs

Promise in its heyday was outstanding. It was a totally different club to GG, which started off in Manchester (I think), and became a larger brand than Promise was, with satellite clubs etc. It probably won awards partly because of that - ie its brand is more recognised outside one area. Individual GG nights are much bigger too (at Tall Trees anyway).

Personally, my best clubbing experiences were at Nice, circa 1997. Most people tend to favour the clubs they started off with.

Gods Kitchen is better than good greef too.

    As is Cream.
