    Regarding Channel 4 - they do an 'alternative' Christmas day every year. Why are people only getting upset now there will be a muslim woman on it? One year the whole day was gay!

    Regarding banning Christmas etc and calling it the winter festival - the majority of muslims are fine with calling it Christmas and are against having the name changed (I believe this includes the Muslim Council of Great Britain).

    It is the woolly white, middle aged, middle classes who are getting their knickers in a twist and worrying about offending people.

    I really hope that people don't misinterpret me that much when I'm taking the piss, I'd sound like someone with some right mixed ideas, I thought it was all so obvious. :lol:

    he was simply expressing unhappiness at the way people from other countries can come over and dictate of culture and way of life whereas if we went over there we would not be treated with the same consideration and would have to adapt to their ways.

    jimi was on about "those kind" which isnt exactly brazen but is pretty damn derogatory!

    Do you actually believe that these things are the norm??? I dont know of a single person who won't be celebrating xmas/easter/guyfawkes etc etc because they might offend anyone
