The daft thing is that from what i have seen we haven't played that badly, Chelsea are just fucking quality.

You look though at our starting eleven, and can safely say that no team containing Daryl Murphy will ever beat Chelsea. Our squad isnt good enough and while we have been unlucky with injuries/suspension to key players some the players who are in reserve arent good enough to come in and do a job in this league.

Ha'way Brucie, get the fucking chequebook out this week...

They are lethal going forward like, they have hit the post and bar as well as a couple of decent saves from Fulop. It could have been even worse

On a serious note, the gap at the bottom is starting to look very tight, with only 5 points separating the drop zone from mid table comfort. If Sunderland don't start picking things up very soon, they could have a relegation battle on their hands for the 2nd season in a row.

On a not so serious note:

Aye it is starting to get close like, we need to turn around this run we are on or we will become swiftly sucked in. We are still hanging off having a decent start to the season, thats the only reason that we are still in a half decent position and if we hadnt then we would be right amongst it at the bottom.

Its no coincidence at all though that we have been poor since Cattermole has been out, then we rushed him back and he got injured again... nice one Steve.

We need him and others back as soon as we can and a few others in too as well as a few new signings in, as some of the players in the side at the moment due to injuries etc just arent good enough.

Hes just totally inconsistent mate, one week he looks awesome, putting himself about, winning everything and being a real handful for defenders... and the next he doesnt look interested.

I think Bruce would take that kind of money for him now like, hes said this week he is a nightmare to manage because of how difficult it is to get the best from him regularly, and when you compare him to Bent who week in, week out puts in 110% and is averaging better than a goal every other game it shows up just how inconsistent Jones is.

For all the talent he has Jones will never be great because hes got emile heskey syndrome, hes bigger and should be stronger than most defenders but goes down like a bag of shite at the slightest touch. Saying that though hes probably one of those players who would be mint playing for a better team

Just watching Match First thing on sky now and they are fucking mint like. Passing and movements class. Looking at the premier league this year if they don't win it this year something's wrong.
