2nd but if Arsenal sell Patrick Viera reckon we (Man Utd) could win it with the return of Rio, Ronaldo coming of age and Smith, Saha and RVN gelling up front.

Sunderland will come 2nd or 3rd, could of done with Connerly up front, some good addtions to the midfield which struggled to create chances at times last season.

Newcastle will be between 5th and 8th, they have a good strike force but the defence is still to dodgy and Woodgate cant play more than 10 games in a row before getting fooked again.

Our defence let in 12 less goals than the much hyped Boro defence. Our problem is'nt the quantity of the goals that go in the back of the net, it is the manner in which they do.

If newcastle eventually get butt and get a better right back whilst managaging to curb the excesses of dyer and bowyer out on the lash and get robert to actually start defending I can see them finishing 4th. Just waiting for Bellamy and Shola to start wingeing they aint getting enough first team football like. Steve Harper aint and you never here him complain.

    Pete,

Kluivert, butt possibly and maybe a decent right back? Where you been?

If viera goes to madrid, man u are still on the decline, chelsea dont gel and liverpool play to the defensive style the coach they have signed plays to then its allin the melting pot for Newcastle to get in amongst it
We wont have as crap a start as last season.
    :)

mate like i said to chris fee, these are good players, but players that are rejected from other clubs and that have alot to prove, whereas liverpool, man utd, chelsea, arsenal all go for players that are playing at their peak at the moment, thats the differance and will always be the differance between newcastle and other big sides. :)

milner tho, hes a player that might have a bright future, but not if newcastle do to him as they done to the likes of viera, bring him on for the odd 10 minutes, then start the odd game, drop him then bring him on 2 games later for 20 mins, its daft.

Arsenal best players were expensive flops in Italy

This might be controverial like but I read somewhere a while ago that the magpie is a cursed goodluck charm and until we change from playing in black and white stripes we wont win anything.
I aint making this up. The board were actually thinking of changing the strip a few years ago. I think you are partially right beacause if you look at any player in the toon team would they displace the player in that position in liverpool man utd chelsea or arsenal teams. The only 2 who would play in any of those other teams starting 11 are given and woodgate
