Orbit speaks the truth n I see what he means. But I find the majority of trance tracks appeal to me, whereas a lot of hard house doesn't. If you go down that line of saying as long as it's done well it's a good tune then you may find yourself bopping to the Spice Girls!! Ludicrous I know, because I feel that the music has to stand for something and if it's for tacked on commercial gain for the greedy pop stars, promoters and agents to make unbelievably high profits out of gullible teens then the music sucks, whether it's catchy or not.

Another point is that music is meant for your mood- I prefer to listen to house before I go out, prog. at the start of the night then trance or harder house/trance at the peak cos that's the pattern my mood moves in. Then when I get in to go to sleep I'll put on chilled Euphoria or summat similar cos I dont wanna hear a pounding beat.

By the way, I'd like to make it clear that I've never bopped ever(!) to the Spice Girls!!! Maybe a bit of Westlife but that's as far as it goes.... :p

I voted for trance but there's a load of drum n bass I like -especially the ambient type stuff that Im listenin to now-; happy hardcore's mint, progressive trance is equally as mint (you may have seen a few of my posts about Sasha...) and so on, so it IS hard to categorise, but yet its still possible to do it and have a favoured style.

    ;) One Eyed

I like listenin to funky house when im in the house (hmmm sounds a bit dodgy) and out at bars or whatever. But when ur dancin u need something a bit faster to jump around to.
