Agreed, it was a strong post, but he asked my reasons after I had repeatedly said I would not post them.

Oh, and they arent just accusations.

Yes I was thrown out when I was accused of snorting coke in the toilets. I do not do coke, because to be honest it is a shit drug and I was deffinitely not doing it on the night.

I didn't snort anything in the toilets but they decided to search me, and throw me out anyway when they found nothing.

They have also searched me outside the toilets and stole about £20 from my wallet leaving only coppers in there. Again, I had done nothing wrong.

I reported the second incident to Mark, and heard nothing more about it. I didn't bother with the first incident i mentioned (this happened after the time my money was stole), because I knew nothing had been done when I complained the first time.

How many of the bouncers at Foundation have been sacked due to complaints? Any at all?

Agreed. Which is why Andy shouldn't have hassled Smog into posting his comments.

deaf ears? how do you conclude this? have you ever complained to management when an incident occures? Can't possibly think of a reason why not!

most violence/trouble is caused outside of clubs. FACT.

things like that shud be reported to foundation, as it is foundation that hires the bouncers etc...not promise.

also, are you 100% sure they took the £20? did u see them take it? or was it jus missing wen u checked afterwards?

cud av dropped out or anything u see....

and when u were chucked out, were u in a state at all? cos even tho they didnt find anything on u, if you were in a state, they might have thought it was best u were chucked out.

i dunno what happene d- jus tryin to understand.....

Not only did you most likely pull that fact straight out of your arse but how does that in any way relate to what is being debated here?

The only thing that leads me to believe is that bouncers at clubs like Foundation may very well take people round the back where there are no cameras, and kick them shitless.

This has happened many times in Foundation, MASSIVE FACT.

to be totally honest, i think them quotes from matt's board are bollocks.

as ive said in another thread, and have said for a while, the door staff at foundation are among the worst ive ever came across for the type of club it is. ive been to passion, gods (the clubs mentioned) and various other nights around the uk and there has never been that sort of problem with the door staff anywhere else. i even thought one was going to get aggressive with the people behind the decks when he stormed along ordering everyone out. i also see people thrown out and even barred for very little, when others that have been thrown out for more serious offences are let back in.

and promise HAS gone on past 4, anyone that says otherwise is lying tbf!!!

whatever laws say otherwise it was well fucking harsh not letting matt play 'one more' especially after the sort of night it was.

thats my 2p worth anyway, and i could also name incidents if anyone says the above accusations are unfounded, but its a public msg board so had best leave it there :)

Thats why I did not post the details, and nor would I.

I agree it shouldnt be on here, I only posted to make a point and expected it to be taken down.

@andyf - Of course we complain, whether it be on here or to the management.

Most violence is caused outside clubs, does that excuse any violence by bouncers in a club??? Any thing outside a club I couldnt give a shit about because in the end that generally not a clubs responsibility... but are you denying that some bouncers do not cause trouble? How can excuse this FACT and brush it under the table. You asked for critism and seem to refuse to accept it when we give it, im not wanting an argument but I think I have a good and valid point.

As i said...how can you not see how this may be offensive? It's quite strange how only "negative incidents" get reported (of which almost no complaints are made to managment). What about the possitives that happen every night. i.e door staff helping "ill people", [/B][/QUOTE]

Im sorry like (also coz ive just read this) but a lass sitting next to me on fri all off a sudden threw up on the floor, ok not nice, and ppl have to clean it up, but two bouncers just howked her up, chucked her out and wouldnt let her tell me where her friends were,

so they chucked a lass out, no coat, obviously unwell out into that horrible ally thats far too dark and i couldnt even find her mates so she wasnt by her self!

    How very noble and responsible.

wrong, cheeky ****. Foundation has a full perimiter full digital CCTV system that police have full access to. All images are kept for over 11 months. i gain over 90% of ploice video requests from incidents outside. pull that out of your arse.

It relates to the thread in a comparative situation. plus was far more constuctive and informative than your imput.

Is that the one who was white as a sheet outside still at 4am having been chucked out after 12?

She was fucking ill from that let alone being too drunk, and was sober as a judge by then.

They definetly shouldn't have the right to throw people out into the street like that - the girl im talking about had to wait 4 hours for her boyfriend to drive up to pick her up (which was the plan anyway but not having waited outside for the 4 hours first.

They definetly should keep people inside in a quiet room, for fucks sake throwing people out in winter is not funny.

Either way I reported the incident. If that is true then Mark should have told me that I was meant to report it to Foundation instead of pretending he'd do something about it. I have heard that Mark has actually tried to do something about reported incidents in the past, but Foundation do fuck all about it.

I watched them take the cash out of my wallet to search it, then another one started asking me questions. They zipped up my wallet, gave it back to me and let me go. A few minutes later I checked it and there was no cash in there.

I highly doubt that they accidently dropped it when putting it back in, and either way, they lost it.

I was fucked when I got thrown out, however so was the majority of Promise. I was not doing anything illegal, as I was currently in possesion of no drugs and it is not against the law to be under the influence of a drug.

It amazes me that people can be kicked to shit for comiting a none violent crime such as posession of an illegal substance, yet the bouncers get away with causing physical damage to people.

I am not aware of any such issues. It was an informative fact to inform people who read this thread to not be put off foundaton/promise. If you wan't to start putting words into my mouth......

I reckon people are way over-exagerating (at the risk of joining Bri's Bum Brigade).

Ok they aint particularly nice, but if they were then there wouldnt be much point in them being there. There is virtually no trouble at Promise. I bet every other club in Newcastle, the bouncers are dealing with 5-10 violent incident every Friday night. So they must be doing something right.

Friday was one of the best ever Promises, and now this thread is longer than the thread about the night.
