    Re: ........

I dont find that offensive for reasons I will not post on here...

But I think constructive critism is essential in a clubs growth and you should take notice of some of the comments, afterall we are the ones that pay on the doors and at the bar... im not gonna slag off promise or foundation but you also should listen to what is being said about the nights, staff and venue

As I said, im not gonna post certain things I have seen/heard/experienced in the club. I admit I dont like the bouncers... this is not a typical "boozers" club, therefore different rules apply... there is rarely any serious violence at nights like promise, shindig etc yet we still have typical bigg market bouncers who often treat the people there like shit... they are intimidating and rude and that is not the way to act to the club goers, quite the opposite. Im not sure of the alternatives but its something many people on here feel strongly about...

As i said...how can you not see how this may be offensive? It's quite strange how only "negative incidents" get reported (of which almost no complaints are made to managment). What about the possitives that happen every night. i.e door staff helping "ill people", like when our staff help find lost belongings, when our staff remove violent, agressive people (making the club safer for everyone else), the list goes on. I recieve numerous thankyou letters (especially from people who were helped with lost items) and almost no complaints. Your experience may be different, i think it's perfectly acceptable to air these complains, but when people are over aggressive and offensive about something the didn't even understand....

Of course bouncers help people at times, it is surely part of the job description, and not all bouncers are idiots.

I cant comment on the letters etc you recieve, but I can on what has been experienced by myself and others... they can be a little "heavy handed" at times amongst other things.

Maybe you cant win... employ hard bouncers and people complain they are to aggressive, rude etc, employ bouncers who know the scene and are more easy going, and people could take advantage of that. All im saying is that there is an issue that needs to be addressed.

no, that was not what you were saying. the original discussion was about over aggressive and offensive unfounded statements.
The issue you are adressing is seperate. You never did explain how you thought the comments were not offensive?

    Does it matter?

Maybe things could have been worded differently. The points of the post still remain tho.

    Re: ........

haha although funny, I think he let them off lightly there.

The bouncers at Promise are a bunch of prize wankers, especially that baldy one - what a total fucking cock. He's always creeping about the place with his flash light and staring me out.

They have stole £20+ from my wallet and nothing was done about it, they have thrown me out for no reason, took it upon themselves to bully certain regulars and constantly stare at me whilst I'm doing fuck all wrong.

I've always been unsure why they stare at me so often. Well maybe I do have some idea. ;)

    SACK THE FAT BALDY ONE.

maybe, but to return to the subject of the thread, the door staff were acting on my instuction, does this mean the offensive steroid dig should be aimed at me? No, cos i'm not a door man. So why these offensive commentas be aimed toward our staff? There is absolutly no need for unfounded agression to be posted in this occasion. I was just asking smog how he thought it was not offensive, which a gained no reply. Thats it.
