    older euphoric uplifting trance is my fav music of all time. But at the no i would have to say hard trance!!!

    What joy plays is inbetween techno and prog I'd say (with a little bit of trance).... it definatly has a techno edge to it.

    When he played last month there was a techno edge to his set for about half an hour- 45 mins. :(

    harder stuff is what i prefer... the thread didnt require a degree standard diss on music culture which i could write if i wanted :D

    I like the harder pumping stuff as much as the next person, worked for a hard house label ffs, but harder faster doesn't necessarily make it better music. Music has soul, it has feeling, making it as hard and as fast as you can get does not do that, unless you've just done a gram line of ket perhaps!

    Hard house simply isn't hard and fast, it has many forms which it takes across the spectrum believe it or not, It's not a case of bang bang from start to the very finish, it has a course.

    Many djs have different styles, they don't play 'hard and fast', I doubt they would describe their style as such either and definately doesn't give them any credit for what they do do, which is make music and not noise
