In Cramlington, between the ages of 13 - early 15 there were groups knocking around the streets - 'Charvers' and 'Moshers'.

We were 'in betweens' and we got called 'Trendies' by the Charvs eventually, as we had no name and had to be branded!

    Then they kicked us in.

no, but i used to live near where they filmed 'Emmerdale' The old set anyway b4 they moved cause of the millions of tourists trying to get into the one of the smallest villages in yorkshire. all at once. in big coaches. Asking "Where's seth?" They sent flyers round at the time they filmed the 'airplane crash' episodes telling people 'they'd be filming large explosions and we were not to be worried.'

Along with at least half a bottle of whisky! I learnt my lesson after that one. Never touched alcohol for at least a year after that and the smell of whisky still makes me feel sick.

Used to live in Yeadon. Cut down thru Esholt Woods to the old village. The pub used to be called 'The Commercial Inn' years ago.
