tbh i think stuff this serious has no place on a public message board full of drink fueled, drug taking pot heads. I'm not being arrogant but I think its best you dont try to sort those kind of problems out here.

I think you're cool hannah but I seriously wouldn't bother telling people on here those kind of problems. on here it's easy to act like a **** on a message board and show no consideration for someone that in real person-to person chats you'd be totally sweet with.

True. But is it not better for me to get it out rather than bottle it up like I usually do ... regardless of the dickhead replies :)

I think its quite funny how people have changed towards me ... and how those that have been nice to my face can quite easily sit behind their computer and be cruel to me. I would never have it in me to judge people I barely know.

quite possibly one of the least sensitive posts i've ever seen on here

MDI is a common mental health issue and tbh with you, i don't think you have it. i doubt somebody who is out djing day and night week in week out could sustain such a lifestyle if it was so severe.

you are far more an obsessive compulsive from what you have shown, behaviour wise + constant posts about mark on the board... along with saying your previous ex got the same or even worse (although having not met you in person this could just be something totally different altogether)

you need to see somebody to sort out your mental health sooner rather than later before you do get mdi (which you haven't got... yet)

Are you my doctor? Or living my life for that matter? No on both accounts! Im not out DJing every day nor am I out partying out half as much as the people on this board. I have to force myself to leave the house FFS. Ive been manic depressive for at least six years. How about an insensitivey check on your post aswell hey.

if you have known somebody with mdi you should easily be able to tell that you don't have it.

  My best friend is a psychiatric nurse, a good few of my friends have Manic Depression as just one of their mental health problems and guess what all of them aswell as my doctor can all see that I have. And thats with me doing my best to hide it from them, like I do everyone else.

    how convenient...

then again, surely you should be seeing a psychiatrist to sort your mental health?

i honestly don't believe somebody who is out, even just for DJing, especially with your tequila sessions or whatever it was that you posted that you have MDI

    Awsome

Seriously though, she needs to grow up and realise the world doesnt revolve round her.

Honestly, when i say that im saying it because i believe its the best thing for her and i believe its for her own good.

Tell me how its gonna help her posting the same crap again and again on a message board? Shes never gonna get get better with people like you and your 'aww diddums' type attitudes.

Totally wasn't expecting that sorta response.

I'm not against the idea of her leaving the board/the type of life she is living to aid her recovery.. I'm just against the cruel attitudes of some of the members of this board.

Over the past few months I have noted a massive increase in the egos of some board members and thinkin you are able to make nasty comments to someone who you haven't met before regarding their way of life is just not fucking cricket.

Yes she would be better suited to visit a professional, get advice and hopefully solve her problems.. but tbh you could have worded your reply a bit better.

It just drives me mad that people can openly bitch about someone they've never met and disregard their health problems.

As for my 'aww diddums' type attitude - Its far better to comfort someone with depression than to be negative towards them. While I do not know her I do kinda care for her well being. This would be exactly the same if it were you that was having these remarks said against you.

And for those people that think I'm saying this trying to be a sleaze.. I've been in a relationship for 4 years.. never cheated and never even thought about it..

I'm just an all round nice guy.. (kinda)

Well, thats where we differ then.

I think the posts from Joe, Tom, Confuzzled etc on this thread are the ones she needs to read and take in.

Virtually none of us have ever met her. If she jumps off a cliff tomorrow, it wouldnt change our lives. We may stop and think for 5 mins but that would be it. Harsh maybe, but completely true.

Thats not to say there wouldnt be people that care, ie her family etc. But my point is why do we, 300 miles away, all need to hear about it 24:7. Its all 'look at me' shite.

This is www.promisealways.com not www.attentionseekingmentalists.com last time i checked. Ive been depressed about things before, and looking back on it now, a good kick up the arse would have helped me more than the "have a hug" attitudes. They feel nice short-term, but are not the solutiion.
