    you are all wrong the best golf has to be the original 1.8 mk1 GTI
    2, mk4 R32
    3, mk3 VR6
    4, MK2 GTI
    5, that twin engined golf from a few years back

    matter of opinon really, im too young to consider the mk1 as the best - of couse its always going to have it's cult status however.

    FYI there was no Mk6 VR6....it was a V6 4 motion

    but thats just being picky :p
