    Its been a canny first run around.
    Had it a few years, it started with 30,000 and its now on 56,000.

    Had not problems with it.. and no major repairs needed.. touch wood!

    I'm looking to get something new in the summer..
    Possibly thinking a GTI model of the same car..

    Although I've seen a few others I'm interested in too..

    Yes they look (IMO) uglier than the mk4 but apprently VW fucked up with the mk4 GTI and it ain't v fast.

    This is according to Mr Clarkson on his new DVD :)

    :lol:

    The Mk4 GTI Clarkson would be referring to was probably the dog that is the 2.0 at a mere 115 bhp and is considered the worst golf ever to bear a GTI badge.

    The one I am after is the 1.8T with a respectable 150bhp :)
