I went with my girlfriend in June and its a really good city to go to for a weekend away, loads to do with site seein shopping etc and on the nights the bars are really good.

I stayed in hotel called the George Hotel which i'd recommed, its on george street (bit of a give away) and thats where a lot of the swanky bars are.

Good club there call Cabaret Voliter, its small arch ways, like a mini version of the arches with lowers ceilings. was fuck all on when i went but seen they'd had people like dixon on in the past, not sure if they cater for trance though.

Pipe down Walgate lad. I wouldn't be seen dead on the streets of York.

also you can get a bus ticket and get on and off all day. Will take you to all the best spots with tour

Got back from Edinburgh last night, its a quality place. Shit loads of shops, busy as fuck & so many tramps/beggars on the streets its unreal.

Defo go back, need to go for longer than just the one night tho, so much to do. Got lost for about 4 hours trying to get back to the hotel as I was adimant it was 'this way' & had sussed out the route, 4 hours later my lass was foaming to say the least
