    I herd it was a shocking first half & Jeff 'Ewok' Whitley got boo'ed when taken off. That Brighton defeat was what the Sunderland needed & it has been a great March for Sunderland but April & May are where its at tho.

    Got a text from my mate @ the game saying "Top of League...COME ON!" my reply was "Yous will be in the same postion in about 3 or 4 years time";)

    Why do you say that you are few points clear of Ipswich but your run in is hard for yous.

    Because its Sunderland, it always always ends in misery and in my opinion this season will not be any different.

    There's been quite a lot of shit the past few seasons, esp after games at Goodison. Running battles in street etc. The media paints this picture of it being the friendly derby, as support is'nt really affected by location (Tyne Waer Derby) or religion (Old Firm), but it being the friendly Derby isn't too much the case anymore. There is a lot of biterness directed at Liverpool by some Everton supporters as they blame the eysel disaster for taking away their chance of European glory. How many Liverpool fans do you see in the home section at Goodison? None. The atmosphere is quite nasty, but you never read of it except in footy forums
