Just out of interest.... Does anyone have a problem with the price?

A couple of people have said its too expensive, but its a lot cheaper than other similar events around the country,

DJs are constantly putting up their fees and unfortunately this has to be reflected in the door price,

Would be good to get everyones thoughts on it....

£14 is what id expect to pay tbh - but how much will it be on the door?

His Fabric album was dreadful on first listen but under the influence of a certain white powder it all made sense!

I didn't think an awful lot of his Fabric CD either, expected a lot more from him.

On the face of things £15 looks quite expensive, but then other nights such as Error and Habit are charging £12, so it looks like all good nights are going be expensive now regardless of which one you choose to go to....

    Ditto about his Fabric album.

£15 is a fair price I reckon. How much was it when Luciano/Richards were on and how much was it for Hawtin?

£15 isnt too bad IMO for a Villa 3hr set, bearing in mind you will pay the thick end of a tenner to get into Baja/Bambu on a weekend night (not that i go like..) with no guest DJ's on and clientele that most of whom are cracking adverts for abortion.

Luciano and Richards was the same £14 adv, £15 on the door,

Hawtin was only £10/£12 but that was April 2007,

So if the price is jumping by £3 a year, are we going to be paying £18 next May?

I'm not stupid enough to think that prices will stay the same, I just think all of the nights are becoming more and more expensive fairly quickly.

Its not jumping by £3 per year, the price always reflects the cost of the event, so can be anything between £12 - £15 depending on the line up.....

I don't think we would ever charge more than £15 in Newcastle. Most other clubs who put on similar artists/line ups charge up to £17.50 adv.

Booking DJ's through European agencies is going to cost more now because of the Euro vs £ exchange rate.

How much do people expect to pay? £12? For the sake of £3 is it really worth whinging about?

If he plays crap then you would expect people to whinge but if hes as good as Hawtin or Luciano then its more than worth it!

The fact's its 15 pound would probably put me off... only because I'm one of the people who wouldn't mind going but not massively bothered.

If it was someone I really wated to see I wouldn't mind paying that much so the price is probably fair.

Ive only ever seen Villalobos once, i dont think my jaw made it back from Frankfurt though after seeing him destroy Timewarp at 10 in the morning. The best set ive seen this year so far by a country mile.

Looking forward to hopefully see him do the same thing to el digitalo come friday night :D

Yeah, most DJ's are putting up their fees...also the EURO rate is making it alot more expensive, we have to pay in EURO's for agents fee's and flights too.

Going to £10/ £12 was a must ....with most of our nights just about breaking even at that!

Is it not something daft like 8 quid to get in to Blu Bambu? £12-15 is a fair price imo.
