If people are only against the cruelty to the animal itself and not the death then why don't they eat cows? I see them and they live in massive fields bigger than any garden I have had. Surely thats being treated nicely, they also get all the grass they can eat and get there nipples sucked everyday. What a life!!!

lmao - It's fulfilling its destiny as a cow, the cow is put here to be milked and eaten. It dies knowing that it has served its purpose in life.

sadly that's not the case most of the time. And it is massively wasteful to grow a field of crops just to feed an animal to then kill and eat when we could just eat whats in the field and feed twice or three times as many people off the same piece of land.

and if you had to have your nipples sucked as often as they do and by a machine as well it might loose it's appeal

I agree 100% mate, we grow old and die of disease etc whereas cows are put in a field with all the food they want, get knocked off without even asking, and get cut off in their prime, you can't really ask for much more.

very true, and they also get to live on in the form of a pair of nice shoes, a fancy handbag maybe, or that nice new jacket you've always wanted.

Ahh the life of a cow.

While you're eating them spare a thought for the humble potato who has had to live its life underground only to be dug up, deep fried in animal fat and eaten by yourself!:(

That's what we call kinky stuff where I come from sonny!

of course we invented cows:rolleyes: , why do you think they're that funny coloured pattern? We painted them that colour so we could find them easily in our green fields.

no amount of hippy propoganda could convert me to veggie.

I've seen the videos of the chickens, the pigs, the cows - it's cruel, yes, but it's the extreme and it's never going to stop me eating meat.

The whole purpose of their breeding is for slaughter and to be eaten. Demand COULD fall but theres no chance people are going to give up eating meat en-masse. The "my £2 isn't gonna make a difference so i'm not giving to charity..." style argument is totally irrelevant IMO.

I have no ethical or moral issues at all with eating meat.
