off the top of my head plant life does not exhibit synaptic impulses, therefore do not have a working nevous system which is a precursor to any kind of action even close to feelings of pain or otherwise.

I was a vegetarian for years until I started working in Sheilds and a week of fucking awful plastic red cheese sandwiches killed my pig.

and now I live with a vegetarian and I don't eat meat if there is a choice. You don't have to try to convert people, it just makes sense to me. I once went round a slaughterhouse and it looked like fucking belsen. And the way they produce chickens is really sickening. If any of you saw it you wouldn't want to eat chicken ever again

What has cannabilism got to do with me saying vegetarians who eat fish are daft?

..and yeah I would try the first three aslong as I knew they tasted nice, I don't care about animals or what they look like. If dog tasted as a nice as a juicy steak I'd slaughter mine tonight. Yummy!

My point being is most vegetarians do it because they don't like the killing or the cruelty to the animals but they somehow think a fish is ok to eat. Also, why do veggies eat things that are made to look and taste like meat? If they hate it seeing animals being treated badly why do they eat food that is meant to look/taste like dead animals?

We wouldn't be here today if we never ate meat.

Meat is lush, its a natural thing for humans to eat it!

I would have no problem with killing an Animal if i was starving (and i mean properly starving, not just hungry because i skipped lunch) and i have no problem with eating meat from a supermarket or butchers.

I was a part veggie for a while until about a year ago, but i ate fish. And it was for the simple reason that i don't like the way animals are treated, made to live in horrendously small spaces, packed together, made to eat disgusting stuff - even making them cannibals. At the time i thought all fish were taken from the sea/ a river and had a fairly reasonable life (until i learned about fish farms.)

Imagine if someone put a hook through your mouth and threw you in the sea to drown, pretty similar to what a fish goes through.

I'd happily eat any one of you lot if I was starving to death.
