i agree with some peeps, valentines day is definatley a gimmick constructed by money grabbing corperate companies such as "clintons" not to mention names of course, which is plainly wrong because not only have we alredy spent our well earned money over the much too commercialised christmas period, we are forced to shell out a load more for crappy shoppy shit that lasts all of five minutes. I mean come on it didnt take a genious to think of a bear with i love you on it!

it makes singles feel alienated and crappy, or they show themselves to be hopeles romantics who fall for the person who wont look at them twice,
and it causes couples to see the pressie they have got and think perhaps that they should have put a bit more thought into thiers (a teddy holding a rose is romantic but unimaginative).
