    £200? Fucking right! I'll take 8 please!

Nah, had a watch of the video and it looks genuine and on thought will actually work.

200 quid just seems to much of risk, especially for someone out of work

Very fair comment Chris. They designed this no risk for the people uneasy with parting with £200.

If you decided within 2 weeks of handing your £200 over, and getting your business box, that you just don't fancy it after all - you get your £200 back, no quabble.

If you give it a real go and up to 3 months down the line you decide this actually isn't for you, you again can get 75% of your money back (£150).

Pretty no risk for you, we aren't money snatchers and want everybody in the business to be happy with it (and trust me,they are).

I can't find much in the way of bad reports about Utility Warehouse on the net. I've had a look at this and it seems no different to becoming a webhost reseller, just with utilities instead of domains and email accounts.

It would probably be worth it, but only if you are prepared to spend the time to make it work for you.

So your whole customer base has come from people you know, and you haven't done any cold calling? I can't see many of my mates being interested in it, which would make it impossible to pull off if there isn't a cold calling database that can be referred to for potential customers???

Nice one on getting a new job!

Just so you know, I started this whilst becoming a Director for a company called Moso.

It's a part time business. You need to give it about 5 hours per week most weeks to become successful at it. That said, you're your own boss, so nobody's on your back but if you ask me or my team for help we'll back you up any time.

Yeah basically we cover the following:

    Gas
    Electric
    Telephone
    Broadband
    Mobile

All of those can come on one monthly bill and you just pay Utility Warehouse 15 days in arrears (unlike BT who charge you 3 months in advance). Most people take Gas, Electric and the home phone/broadband package because it gives you 24mb ADSL2 broadband, unlimited UK/International calls and line rental all for £20. No minimum term contract either.

The energy is permanently highly competitive (often the cheapest) - a bit like a tracker mortgage it moves with the trends of the market so you don't need to check online every year who is the cheapest. We regularly win Which? Magazine's Best Buy status on all of the above mentioned packages other than the mobile one.

You also get other member benefits such as a booklet that gives you discounts off your shopping and you can get 5% off your food and fuel if you shop at any of the list of our partners shops such as Sainsburies, Boots, Debenhams.

When you've got 20 minutes I can pop round and explain it further Zoe

Yeah, you'll rarely find anything bad about us on the net (as per all the 3rd party credibility).

You can take as many or as few services as you like :) We currently have the cheapest Pay As You Go tarrif out there at the minute, but the contract Mobiles are hit and miss depending on what you're doing with it. Blackberry deals are pretty mint.

www.nasserplus.co.uk for info on services.. "Broadcall" is the broadband/line rental/calls service for £20 per month.

    Techno packed wor kid

Pierre - Pyramid selling is illegal and is not the same as Network Marketing. Just because you can draw the organization like a pyramid shape, as you can in any business, university, or school, does not make it a pyramid sales organization.

A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, often without any product or service being delivered.

An example being would be you saying to a friend "pay me £10,000" (secretly hiding the fact that it would go to about 20 other people above you divided up and the person at the top rinsed it, people at the bottom get nothing). Then you could promise them that if they introduce people they would get money as a reward for recruiting. We don't do that.

With UW (part of Telecom Plus PLC) everybody starts on the same level and can work their way to the top. In a pyramid it is impossible to do so.

Good on ya Nass - Sounds like youve been reading up on Robert Kyosaki and Brian Tracy stuff? :)

.... Its like having your eyes suddenly opened with alot of the philosophy behind it all, even if you strip out the actual ins and outs of the businesses you end up doing.

    All good financial education :)

Pierre, what nass is doing isn't pyramid related. It's essentially reselling.

With reselling, you buy resources or services from a company to sell on to others.

They have the infrastructure, but you do all the legwork in terms of advertising it all and signing up clients.

They make money from the services you sell, and you make commission for selling it to people, either in the form of a one off payment or a cut of the charge to the end user.

Brid - those guys are my heros! throw a bit of Jim Rohn in there for good measure..

That's pretty much nail on the head what Conway said there too

There is a little difference - unlike traditional direct selling when you sell 1 thing and get 1 commission, with this you're not shifting stock or buying anything in, you're ticking a bit of paper on a form, getting a signature, sending it to head office, and getting paid each month a percentage of the bill, instead of just once. Simple and effective. Month 1 I made £5 because i did next to nothing, month 2 £35, Month 3 £60... but the beauty of it is below.

You also get paid if you introduce team members (who you help become successful but a low percentage of ALL of their customers bills - and for the customers of who they recruit) - this works down to infinity because you were the link that brought them in and caused it to happen. This is where you get into really silly money (it happens over months though, not instantly). You cant just recruit someone and leave them to their own devices, that's wasting their money - they need help in the early days but it's all just about duplicating what I am doing to earn big money.

My friend who's done this for 8 years earns your typical IT Manager's salary per month (!) and he is nowhere near the highest earner. His commissions doubled since August last year because we're at 'the bend of the knee' stages (like when nobody heard of Google.. then it trickled.. then it exploded).

When I'm in my 8th year my commissions will be easily treble if not quadruple his, because when he started in 2001 the services were pitiful and there was only an international telephony product (which only worked sometimes  ).

Now we're winning awards left right and centre for our multiple services and we just turned NPOWERs offer down of £14m which they were willing to pay for our billing software which gets every service onto one bill for the customers.

It is rare for anybody to cancel (we have a 1.4% churn rate) because the prices we charge are always checked and kept low without the customer needing to search the internet for the best deal - this is why I absolutely love it - all the technical is taken care of, i'm just ticking boxes and causing all this to happen and most importantly, getting that monthly payrise.

Absolutely genius way of making money - I'm lucky to only have come across this at age 23. I'm getting a free Mini in August too once I get to 75 customers

Seriously guys, if you've got 5 hours a week, spare or would rather replace Eastenders for this, you want to see the presentation about it next Wednesday at The Quality Hotel, Boldon 7:30pm-9pm.

It's fully in my interests that you are successful and earning the money there is to be made with this, so I'll work damn hard to make sure you do.
