That would half my post count! :p

Gallery seems a good idea tho. A lot of sites do that now. Takes a bit long to upload on most tho.

If you don't like the people on the board, no matter what forums we have you still won't like it :D

The choice of forums has nothing to do with who comes on here and what people say :D

    *Please note*

I'm NOT trying to get in an argument with you but......

As an honest question, how come you stick around if you don't like the people or the forums?

If I don't like something I move on.

i think all the forums have a sue & if ppl are interested in that topic then don't go in there!!!

i.e. if u have nothing to sell or that u want to buy...simple don't go in the for sale forum!! :)

why not just change to an open source board like phpbb?

My first messageboard was vbulletin, but I didn't like it (mainly the costs involved in adding to it) so I changed to phpbbfm, which has a built in gallery for free (which i've disabled) :dunce: .

best bit is that you can convert all your sql data into the phpbb format and back again using a free converter on the phpbb site.

with it being open source, modifications/addons are free too, and you can get it all from phpbb.com or phpbbfm.net :)

For the amounts of cash involved I would only use a free board if it was a lot better as the switch over would take a while to sort out.

Most of the hacks for vbulletin are free, this photo one is the first pay to use one I've seen.

phpbb has more holes in it than a gold course... very unsecure...

plus you get support when you pay for a board....

as rob says the costs are next to nothing - going for an open source sollution brings far to many problems

I am not sure about the Sports forum tbh. It seems Mission Control is pretty slow these days. I never use the humour, techy or buy/sell one, but not too sure if they should be scrapped.
