The seasons Murray gave us very little financial backing we stayed up, then the one time he has given any form of money to a manager it went tits up and we got relegated, Mick has proved what a class act he is especially in the transfer market, i reckon with a transfer kitty of between £5-£10 million and the ability to be able to bring in seven players on loan he will see us alright.

If you look back Kriss I am sure you will see Reidy spent quite a bit of cash most seasons not mega but a good amount it just wasnt big lumps on one player at a time.

Fans need to be more demanding of there clubs & not settle for anything less than what they expect that is all I was saying & if you think that is bitter so be it:p

Agreed about moving on and all that. I personally would be over the moon if we survied, we do need to build on it each year, but it will be hard! It's hard for any team movin to the premiership, only a few have managed it in recent years, Charlton, Fulham etc.. But i don't see how supporters lineing the streets will affect on how we do in coming seasons. I think if Bob Murray puts his hand in his pocket, Mick Mcarthey will not waste the money, the players he has brought in this season with minimul funds have been superb. I just hope the money is there!
