true, the bouncers at code were friendly and helpful, and seemed keen that u had a good night, aswell as being thorough (sp) with their searches

I got asked for ID on monday LOL he looked at me body first b4 me face the cheeky bastard and said "u got ID like" and i said "no not the night" and he replyed well sorry but ... i just put me head down and walked away me...PURE GUTTED ..... Im 21 and still look 16- i 1st started shitty clubbing when i was 17 and from there i had a fake ID - anyways now i have to still carry me ID with me just in case - not to worry tho as when im older ill look younger if that makes sense

I guess Im the opposite of most people coz I have always looked older then I am and have always hung around with older people!!! I have been clubbing for a long time coz of it (been 2 promise under age 2 and it made it even better )!!! Iv have just turned 18 and am eventually looking my age!!! Still get in on a 21 night though! Its great looking older when your younger but you always have to buy the drinks for your friends at a bar


Anyway got no probs with people going clubbing at any age as long as they are responsible enough to look after themselves!!!

We have similar problems here in the US.... I didnt start going to raves (I dont go to clubs) until I was 19, so I dont understand what it is like to be young (sometimes as young as 12 at raves I've been to) at raves.

I think what the One-Eyed DJ said is right. the problem with kids wanting to drink is, they see all the adults doing it and just want to fit in. If you want them to be able to handle themselves, they have to be taught that sort of stuff at home. so as long as kids are taught to respect anything (alcohol in the UK, and drugs like MDMA here in the US) they put into their bodies, they should be okay. Of course, that means all of you have to be good role models for them... and I think thats a shot in the dark. hehe.
