    Parts of it, they bought most of North Tees plants, some of Wilton's and a huge site somewhere in europe but ICI is spread all over anyway

    yes in 1999 ICI Tioxide, ICI Petrochemicals and ICI Polyurethanes were all bought out by the Hunstman group which at the time was the bulk of ICI's operations on Teesside.

    ICI Paints was sold of to a seperate startup called Uniqema. Don't think they have much presence if any at all on Teesside anymore though.

    oh didn't realise it was still under control of the main ICI group. I'm sure i read somewhere that Uniqema is bigger than the rest of ICI's operation put together.
