    What are you talking about?

Of course I wasn't there 8 years ago, but that doesn't mean caning it for 4 years is a walk in the park... I don't get what your point is?

Someone has to have a double figure milage before they can say they've over done it?

I merely quoted you to point out the irony in your post.

you have to have gone to the old warehouse parties back in the early 90's like ark, life, afterdark etc. like i did to be classed as an experienced caner...

an i don't get all these peeps who have to take drugs all the time when they go out, even if i have them on me i'll only take them if i feel like it, many times i've come home with what i've gone out with, cos i haven't felt the need/haven't been in the mood for taking them...

if you feel you are getting bored an want a change or to take a break then you must be addicted...

get a life you drug addicts.

You merely quoted me and made a tit of yourself.
I done stupid amounts of drugs, I wouldn't usually mention but I'd get through 4+ grams of ket and pills would go well into double fugues (thats not mention coke, acid, speed, and anything else I could get hold of)... Now repeat that level of drug useage 3 nights a week for at least 3 years. Now try and point out the irony you dumb fuck.

I was a twat - i over did everything, I'm well aware of this.... but I miss the irony.

Just because I was having it to larry levan in the late 70's doesn't mean I can't over do it...

What a pile of shite... your posts have been of a top quality lately but this is gash (unless its sarcasm :D )

Most the people who went to the old raves no longer go clubbing... I know hundreds of folks and they just like I did got bored after a few years... How can someone who does the same thing every weekend for 10 years possibly tell me to get a life - isn't that slightly hypocritical :D

And just because you do your drug limit - it doesn't give u the right to preach how many other people should do... Different strokes for different folks.

hmmm... well i was 13 when the afterdark was closed:D

it was my bro's life i was stealing there, an he doesn't even go out of the house much now:spangled:

i blame it on the drugs, thats why i try not to take too many now

    :)

an i don't preach...(well i try not to) u live how you want to but let others live how they want to, thats what i think anyways:)

music IS the drug... it effects your brain (the loudness and harsh sounds used in electronic music) and changes your preceptions...

Trying reading your post again - yet more irony telling me I look a tit. And I'm hardy a "dumb fuck" - I know how to control myself, what I do with my weekends and my life for that matter. I don't think its fair to blame excessive drug taking on a form of music.

Why didn't you head your post "Tyring of drug abuse" ?

I'm not going to get invloved in an argument about drug taking - you win hands down mate.

For me the music and the drugs went hand in hand (as they do with millions of other clbbers - you going to get on your high horse and point out their flaws?)

Trance as a music form in my eyes is very dull and monotonous... pills helped make it euphoric and fun... I was into the durg culture of clubbing more than the music - are you going to take the moral high ground and start mocking that now?!?!?!?

I don't have to of saw astral projection in israel many moons ago to tire of trance - lol if your trying to dictate when I can and can't enjoy something your a bigger idiot than I thought :D

As for control? what are you talking about you moron, I am showing control now by stopping as I'm finding it boring now - its no longer fun... I strongly suggest you don't comment any further your making a rather large cock of yourself :D

Most of the people I know from the old rave days who don't go out now, still love music & clubbing but have families, mortgages or jobs that make it impossible now, it has very little to do with being bored.

People who have been clubbing for a long time tend have a few other interests rather than just clubbing.

I am sure older long term clubbers like all the Lost Boys & Mark will agree with me.

Im bored of getting wrecked when Im out but Im certainly not bored of going out. I dont see the point in going out if its just getting wrecked that you look forward to.

Theres more to going out then taking as many drugs as possible. Yes, I used to take a lot but I grew bored of getting totally off my face and now have a better night when Im pissed. Thats probably because it had been a while since Ive just had alcohol when Im out and the circle will probably go round again. I still do get wrecked from time to time. I just dont like getting in the same state every week. Maybe its cos Im getting older and its getting less and less easy to handle once Im back to work after the weekend :spangled:

I don't take em because I've lost a friend to it. Out of common sense I wouldn't do ket or pills anyway, but it takes something like losing a mate to realise how dangerous it is...

There's no guidelines to it. It's not like alcohol where you know your own limits and can tell how much you can drink (roughly) by how you feel. All it takes is one dodgy pill - within minutes you're fucked. Same with ket - the stuff is so strong it's not worth it.

sorry if I sound like I'm sounding off, but this lad thought he knew what he was doing, he took a lot less than other people I know, and it still screwed him.

People can get unlucky too though and get dodgy stuff or have a bad reaction if theyve never had it before.

People think because everyone else is ok they will be too and too many people arent very careful when they first start
