clubbing is still as it always was
you just need to find that spark again. i was tiring and then i stopped going out for 3-4 months

then it came to me how much i missed everything

especially a lot of friends that i hadn't seen in ages

that set off the spark in me and set me to full throttle
now i can't wait for the next sundiss

And I find it extremely patronising when spoke down to and refered to as kid :p

Its human nature to go through phases, people enjoy things then move on - variety is the spice of life. Not everyone is going to like clubbing and not everyones going to like trance - different strokes for different folks.

I have bored of trance as by the looks of it have a few other people... So tell me when should I tire of trance?
As for drugs ruining clubs, I disagree I think certain drugs ruin clubs.

    The word is....I've retired.

The reason that I'm clubbing later in life than most is that I got into it quite late in life, I've only been seriously clubbing for around 7 or 8 years. ;)

you're prob call this bull but the drugs and the clubs go hand in hand... not that im saying the drugs are good and you cant go out with getting wasted but think sundiss without the drugs... it wouldnt be sundiss... its not just to do with the drugs, its the combination of everything that makes people go stale towards clubbing... do something enough times and they get bored and sometimes begin to resent it...

    its human nature. end of.

BUT ITS NOT THE END OF THE FUCKING WORLD :D

Without pill culture, clubs wouldn't have the late hours, the after hours/sunday clubs wouldn't exist... clubs like gatecrasher wouldn't have the feeling of unitity friendliness and openess everyone loved it for.

For fucks sake, without pills people would realise how dull and unemotional trance is ;) :p

You can't say drugs ruin clubs - they're the fucking foundations :D

Hit the nail spot on there joe... you can't listen to the same thing forever. Variety is good :D

As for drugs, I can't comment because I don't take them and still have a class night out, regardless of whether it's trance or house :)

Tell you what - if you're tired of promise, try baja, biggmarket or trades - if you really have had too much of a good thing, then you'll learn to appreciate HOW BAD the alternatives are on a friday :)

nothing wrong with taking a break from the club scene,, tbh i was sick too death of promise for a while, same people same patter!!!

i went clubbing for a good two years without ever done drugs of any sort... i got well bored of it, and stopped going, until i discovered drugs. drugs for me put the fun back into clubbing - thats probs not good a thing tho?

Maybe the problem is with variety.... Attaching to a scene, then turning up week in, week out... then the arena gigs, the after parties - the music at home, in the car, posters on the wall - It doesnt matter how old/young you are,.... you're gonna burn out your interest in it quickly.

Variety is the spice of life - the people who find themselves 'coming back to trance' are people who thought it was shit - then did what they should have done ages ago.... tried something else.... then they come back and enjoy it again.

Unfortunately for me, since i live in london now, i can only come up every few months - but every time i do its enjoyable... ill credit that to my situation imposed "breaks" from trance/etc nights out.

Dont be shy, give it a try :D
