What annoyed me was there is no1 playing differently???

Ornadel was the daddy and still is!

I can think of nothing worse than a dj whos 1st record is the same as his last tempo wise!!!

    Progression and variation!1

Move over Van Dyke , Armin etc

its time for new faces with better ideas!!

That's exactly how I feel at the moment, but I'm old enough to be allowed to feel like that....and I'd have looked fukn plain silly in cyber. I often go through this phase in the summer, I think it has to do with lying in bed all day and feel like I'm missing out on doing a few outdoor things. I recall every time I've been getting ready to go to Ibiza I just haven't been up for it...until I arrived there of course.
I've been doing more normal things lately, pubbing and going home instead of clubbing, riding motorbikes...cos that's what summer is about. Been listening to stuff like Northern Soul and older reggae styles, like Bunny Wailer, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and co.

That African in big brother was spot on saying the Enlish ppl lacked life!

It feels like society is in a total boring recession!

    The war etc hasnt helped...

Neither has the tides of freeloaders and terrorists pouring into the country & everything else in the country been too expensive to buy!

Last time the the UK felt good about itself was Euro 96!

We had it in phases during the World Cup 2002 beating the Argies, being 1-0 up against the Brazilians but it didnt get that 'FOOTBALL COMING HOME'feeling

But Euro 96 was class,Shearer scoring for the 1st in something like 13games,beating the Jocks & Dutch & winning a penalty shoot out, shame the Germans turned up.

Yeah, the atmosphere round Newcastle then was fantastic, all the bars open untill late, good variety of people about, generally top time.

Most people think they want to see new DJs but they dont they want the same old, tried & tested big name DJs.

    Re: Re: Tyring of trance

Nu nrg is def the way forward!! I'm not bored of harder music cos I've only been listening to it for about a year. I listen to so much different stuff that I don't think I'll get bored of a style for a long time. Still love hip hop the most and been listening to a lot of Godspeed You Black Emperor recently. Variation is the key. I think as long as you go to different clubs and experience different music, you won't get bored, although I think (hard) dance will be the first thing I get bored with.:)

Dunno if that's true, the faster its getting, the more I like it! I don't really like old hard house at all, far too slow.
