    Admittedly I did used to use text talk because I couldn't type very quickly, then I learned to touch type and it takes me longer if I try and abbreviate it. :D

    I normally only abbrievate your/you're to ur or miss the g of the end, ie kissin, comin ;)

    spot on. it usually takes much less time and money in the long run to just ring, instead of fannying around with ****ing text messages conversations. if people try and have them with me i ring them, if they then don't answer the phone i don't respond anymore.
