    I saw you at the front talking to the bouncer - felt really sorry for you especially with the distance you travelled :(

    First time i ever went with Orbit/Vin we nearly had the same bother when a bouncer insisted that our tickets were 'fakes' , and with the protesting we gave, it was touch and go whether or not we would have gotten turned back .... would have been shite for vin who had came all the way back from newcastle.

    Its even worse if the bouncer had said to come back aswell - although its one of those things where bouncers really never change their mind on something 99 times out of 100 so they dont look like soft touches. Its funny because i'd honestly say that given the bouncers outside being a bit touch and go - they arent as scary as the ones up north, and inside there isnt a bouncer to be seen at all - its a really safe feeling inside.

    I'd definately write to one of the promoters and to mixmag or whatever, but i would make sure you draw attention to the fact you were told to come back later on more than anything - promoters and magazines will usually just ignore letters about getting knocked back since they probably get letters like this all the time.

    None the less - feel really bad for you, which is a shame cause its a brilliant club :(

    mixmag or whoever wont print it. why would they? its of no interest to anybody. ppl dont buy magazines to read very one sided letters winging about being turfed from a nightclub. it happens every single night of the week. DEAL WITH IT/GET OVER IT!!!

    As i said above if he had been pissed/wrecked and they had just said from the off that he wasnt getting in then we would have accepted it, cut our losses and went elsewhere. It was the fact though that he (genuinely!!) wasnt pissed, and they kept telling us to come back until about 2.30am when they eventually said that we werent going to get in, and said i had 'brought it on myself' by leaving when i was already inside.

    i asked them if they then expected me to leave him outside in london for 8hrs while i raved it up inside, and said i had my hand stamped which surely meant i could go back inside, which is when i was told its 'not their problem' and that i was wasting my time :down:

    whinging and keep going over it aint gona turn back the clock and make those bouncers let you in (unless youve got an old de lorean knocking about, and a flux capacitor), so GET OVER IT FFS! your not the first and definitely not the last either

    surely letters pages in dj mags are the perfect place to write to with stuff like this, if theyre not there to write in about clubbing experiences ect then what the fuck are they there for??? :spangled:

    at the end of the day i know im not the only person its happened to, though i have seen people in the past write in and often the mag will get a response from the club to go with it, and i would be interested to see what they had to say about it.
