I never use what i read on boards as gospel - almost everything I've read contradicts that, but like yourself I aint an expert on the stuff.... I do know that its far more dangerous than alcohol though so think its foolish to sugest otherwise (as we have some gulible gumbies on this site ) - like a lot of club drugs if used carefully its not as dangerous as everyone males out... but its very easy to misjudge GB and it does kill.

If you don't know much I suggest u shut up... your suggesting a drug which has killed a shed load of people is safe... its both irresponsible and stupid...

I recommend you do your own research and then tell us what you've found out rather than spurting some shite a mate told you.

they also give you valium when they give you ketamine in hospital. could be to lower the heart rate. but i know stops you trippin ya nut off.

GB is a nasty, scary drug. A friend of mine ended up in hospital after taking some, and had to be resuscitated four times, ie she effectively died four times. Fortunately she is ok now (and no, it isn't anyone from the board).

Yes, I am sure in the right doses you will be fine, but then again pure heroin in the right doses does you less harm than alcohol, and you don't see many people advocating the use of that! The point is, as has already been discussed, strength can vary and peoples tolerance levels are different. I'd rather not bother and know that I will be going home at the end of the night instead of hospital.

it's a lethal drug for 2 reasons. 1 strengths vary a lot. 2 the difference between a "normal" dose and a dose that will kill you is much less than with other easily available "recreational" drugs. Add these 2 factors together and it becomes fairly easy to take a dose that will kill.

Get your facts right before you start spouting 2nd hand dangerous advice from your mate who's a "chemist or something like that". Fool :evil:

i for 1 will never touch the stuff & there should be decent real life informative factual progs on this...........the scare 'em off attitude doesn't work & the government should have figured this out by now so like this prog appears to have done get those who have done it & had bad experiences on it tell their side of the story!!!

Why?!?!? ITV always portray drugs in a predictable manner... It was hardly factual programming designed to make you look @ gb from an unbiased position - it was anti-drug propoganda scripted to make you think OH MY GOD DRUGS ARE BAD!

that programme was a joke. it was basically trying to say that smoking weed makes you schizo. then later it went on to say that it'll only send you schizo if you're already schizo anyway. it just brings it out in ya or summit like that. WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT!!!

Factual programs with psychologists and doctors are far more useful than fucking anti-drug propoganda which use shock factor to boost viewing figures... The media fucked up big time with Ecastacy and are doing exactly the same with GB - education is far more beneficial than miseducation.

People like yourself (and 90% of this thread) who have fuck all knowledge on the drug are talking about making it a class a drug

ecstasy is more widely used by ppl 4 clubbing or recreational use & where as gb may have been around for years it isn't so well known or used!!! - except as being labeled a date rape drug.....

You've said it all in this here comment, I'd personally prefer scientific fact over some scallies "guess work"... I know loads of people who use GB - non of them pull their gf's teeth out with pliers, non of them have died and non of them have starred in an ITV documentry... if you wish to believe media hype do so, just seems a very niave thing to do - I suggest you read the crazy yankee drug shit thread a few posts down... and thank ur lucky stars u don't live in america cos that would be the hype u believed.

And for the record GB is caned alot - its just not a big drug in newcastle - its huge in the states and in Hard House clubs...

I am not claiming to know loads about this drug but it seems to me that there is a lot of hear-say and not that much knowledge about the drugs itself and its affects.

I think certain peeps need to go and read up about it as they are coming across as rather ignorant.

On a personal note i would never do the stuff but it is up to the individual if they want to, but just dont expect any sympathy from me if it goes wrong.
