You have to make an effort to be part of the trance scene in the NE these days ... thats the only thing different about it. No more no-brainer trance venue any more.

Aside from that, i think its as strong as ever - especially so if your willing to make trips around the country to places like Digital Society.

I was just about to say that. Nights like Neuro will go from strength to strength if they keep plugging through the hard times as the people behind it are actually into the music, Junior:G was similar & it's why nights like Digital Society have the reputation of being the best trance night in the UK at present. Nights like this will always have the upper hand on bookings & creating a buzz as they live & breath it, actually making the effort to go to other nights out there to see how to put a decent event on. You can see the nights out there that struggle or in the end fold as there missing this factor, just scraping by every few months by sticking a crowd pleaser on.

He said he thought music at Digital the other week.

If he thinks that then he's a retard and doesn't like trance. DS was immense. It might not have been Armin style airy fairy shit but the music was unreal.

Proudy - Go on msn u fuck tard :)

That's so true... but its not just in the NE, it's anywhere in the UK to be honest.

Trance is still alive and kicking if you know where to look for it, and not expect it to be on your door step week in week out.

    DS know the score!

i used to be mad into trance a few years ago but i cant get away with it now. fuck all groove, supose people just get bored of things and look for something new as their interests change. cant say i think its anything to do with the quality of drugs these days or my personal habits! :D

    Yes we do, thankyou!

Proudy hit the nail on the head. The reason we (DS) have a good reputation is cos were constantly thinking about DS. Promoting, looking at different avenues to take, checking that everything is going well. It helps that the Main DS lads have been trying to do this kind of thing for years.
Basically, For Clubbers By Clubbers, and thats why Neuro could be another excellent night if they put in the hard work.

Trance will always be about, in one way or another, in one place or another. Just got to look.
