Trance in Newcastle

definately, if the old Promise hardcore crowd (not just the people off this board, but the people who were there month in month out) turned out, it'd be full with just them!

the ballrooms is a perfect size for what seems to be newcastles market for this type of music

i haven't been to adecent trancenightin newcastle for a long time..
i've been to gallery @ turnmills a few times in the last few months, and it's been totally spot on, crowd & music wise!

to be fair though I never ever saw vuzz advertised anywhere apart from this message board. Goodgreef is a recognised name!

Tbh I don't live in town and they probably did flyer n stuff so i retract my comment

no offence to the Vuzz people whoever they are but GG is a massive name in that field so will attract people instantly whereas Vuzz means nothing to the majority

contradicted yourself there plonker. alot of the Vuzz crowd seemed to be this message board plus their mates, plus riding on the success of Promise, in my opinion. i liked Vuzz, and went to the Bar Mono stuff - and it's a shame it went.

However, an established name like Goodgreef, in a PROPER established club, already with a following of it's own, i can see no reason why a monthly event wouldn't do ok
