I think most people who saw him pres 2005 will have loved van Dyk he was awesome, so much energy, driving but still trancy, i cant think of an old pvd set i don't like.

His set at th shack in 03 is the best trance set ive witnessed, Since he has gone to laptops he's been hit and miss, he was mint a few years back at passion and at crashers birthday this year but i;ve saw him play some awful sets as well. His laptop sets lose some of the enery and i really miss hearing basslines ping in left right and centre when he's mixing catching you by surprise.

PVD & Armin at 2004 gobal were unreal it is the best ive saw Armin, Whiteroom, In Silence, Yet Another Suburnban Train, The Orange Theme, The World Doesnt Know, Sincere, Communication, the lists endless.

fine! i dont care! ha ha

nah, its got a special place in my heart tho. ecstasy honeymoon and all that.

the reason why i thought armin blew the tent right into birmingham is cos he played the E-craig remix of perfect silence, which, is fucking mint. PVD's set was great because even tho it wasnt that much of a GREAT set, it was still good because it was that late and he managed to keep everyone lively and remain till the bitter, tiesto was class on that day too - only cos he was "cool" in 2005.

so refuse all ya want, i ended waking up in a tent at 10am with someone dressed as a smurf and gandalf, realising these were real people i pinched 20 tab's and headed for home.

if thats not a good event, i dont know what is

    :king:

The world’s biggest trance event will be held for the fifteenth time on Saturday 23 February 2008, and expectations for the programme are running high. Almost every big-name DJ has made an appearance on one of the Trance Energy podiums in the last ten years. And that’s why many artists reckon it’s a great honour to be able to perform at this internationally renowned event.

In recent times the event has attracted increasing interest from abroad, with the result being that this fifteenth version is already assured of having the biggest range of international guests of any dance event in the Netherlands. No wonder then that the international dance community has been eagerly awaiting the line-up – presented below - for some time.

Alongside a very special gathering on the Main Stage of artists who have only performed together a few times before, the Dutch High Contrast label has succeeded in putting together a world-class programme. The Club Stage is purely for local talent, while the Future Stage is where up-and-coming artists who have never previously appeared at Trance Energy get the chance to show what they can do

    Gouryella LIVE!

We can only but dream. Even just a B2B final hour from them would be pretty legendary

I have about 50 mins of this set which was recorded on galaxy.

Has a few classics on like orange theme, yet another suburban train, in silence and communication.

global 04 was a corking festival

Armins set was amazing. Easily the best set I have been to see at a festival. The atmosphere was brilliant. Ferry was awesome too, out of the blue, binary finary, gouyella and veracocha. Happy memories.

I remember van dyk was poor for me that night. Tiesto after armin that night, biggest let down ever probably the worst Ive seen him.

Van dyk global 05 was immense. Absoluley pounding trance from start to finish.

Anyone know anywhere that sells tickets that DOESNT need a credit card?!

..... I would get my lass to book them on her mastercard, but since only im going now, wouldnt she have to be there to collect the tickets (since they are e-tickets) with her card and stuff?

    DOH!
