Just a quick word about something we're doing here at Tourist. It's a new series of mixes that we're hosting by some of our favourite local DJ's from here in the North East. It started off just as a couple of posts on the blog but it rapidly became apparent while we scanned the hard-drives here at Tourist Towers for suitable musical fodder that that there was an absolute glut of brilliant mixes that more people should be hearing. It was for this reason that we set up the new Facebook group to give a permanent home to some of these. We've already got a whole bunch of great stuff up now from the likes of home town bods Tony Daly, Mike Rimini, Geoff Leopard and moi as well as a fabulous mix from Middlesbrough's Fat Dog.
