was the word missing from there what on earth makes you think he was no threat to the west !!! what you think we should have waited for him to procure nukes then try and disarm him ? you lot are so stuck in your crusade to dismiss any thought of relevance to this war and you own dislike of bush that you fail to see the threat he was . if we had left him or them all to it then one day they would have the capabilities of reaching the west and I'll tell you they wouldn't hesitate to use them !!! unlike the Russians these guys aren't afraid to die for their cause seeing as the get 70 virgins and a place at god's side for doing so (yeah right) if this tyrant had been left to his own devises he WOULD have got hold of nukes so fuckin what they didn't WMD's in Iraq but unlike bush and Blair saddam isn't fuckin stupid and his quest for weapons was done imo . my theory is they are stock piled in safe country's if saddam knew they (UN U.S or any other interested party) was looking what's the best diversary tactic ? grab all the attention whilst your allies move your shit around undetected , think about it if all the worlds secur services are busy with the war in Iraq and afghan. then that leave a lot of dangerous people with no eye's on em to move, deal and procure lots of weapon and arms

It irritates me when people defend Saddam and hold him up as some sort of saint, you may disagree with British/US foreign policy; but to turned a blind eye to all the evil that Saddam commited is just wrong.
