H & M is ok sometimes but most of the time its shit for general clothing but always good for hats, topman do sometimes also have some nice stuff in at pretty good prices but the jeans are always a funny shape and they shrink pretty easy.
I mostly shop at Fenwicks or House of Fraser, sometimes quite pricey but alot of the time they have a pretty good sale on.

I have to disagree about the jeans...I don't have a good arguement tho but I still disagree!

Agreed! That's why I started the thread. I was so fucking shocked they had more than 1 decent top in and the t-shirts don't all say things like,

"Lets get pissed! I'm a tit"

    or

"Take me drunk, I'm a wanker"

    or

"Babe magnet" If that's what you call pigs then fair dos!

    Hmmm...

I'd never buy jeans made by Prada, Armani, Gucci, Versace, or anyone else famed for their top-end suit making/tailoring.

All of the jeans I buy though (always Union, Triple S is good for T-Shirts) are made by people that only make jeans. When was the last time you saw a suit made by OneTrueSaxon, Diesel or Nudie?

I've had loads of pairs of jeans from Topman, etc. and they're always a thin, shit, flimsy material, and more often than not I've gotten holes in them...

You can't go wrong with Jeans by Quiksilver, Diesel, Ralph Lauren(Polo Jeans), Calvin Klein or D & G IMO, I don't think I own Jeans by any other makes:)

Why not? I've got a pair of Paul Smith jeans (famous for his suits (I have one of those too! ) and other things) and they're lush and reasonably priced. I ain't got jeans by Prada, Armani, Gucci or Versace but I wudn't not buy them because they also make suits.

I've had a few pairs of Topman jeans in my time and they've always lasted alright. My more expensive jeans aren't that much better quality.

It's kinda, if you look at Armani for example, I'd say that all the expertise of the company goes on making their best suits,w hich ost about £4,000 a pop. Their jeans just come off a production line in Taiwan and they make about 6000% profit.

Whereas people like Diesel focus their attention on their denims, which is why you know you're getting a decent pair of jeans.

    My theory anyway...

I see ur point but I think Armani are more than a 1 trick pony and u can get a nice Armani suit for about £600-£700, that is bottom end tho.

I'm sure Diesels jeans come off the same production line and shed loads of designer suits are made in Thailand apparently.

I do like ur theory tho.

You're probably right to be fair, and Diesel was a bad example to use, as they're a very large company.

That theory justifies me paying £100 for jeans, don't knock it!

My "buy em if I like em" philosophy is much better...if they're £30 or £200 I don't really matter as long as I like em (I'd rather they were 30 tho! :p).
