Have just put 'PF - Chase The Sun' on. Brings me right back to the dancefloor at the end of that night. Jumping around. Lights on. And when pills were pills!

It was a bizzare moment.... thje lights on and everyone was looking rather worse for wear and everyone realized they couldnt dance as well as they thought they could when the lights where low.

1 - pvd cancellation night, enough said
2 - matts 5hr set last november, the only ever monthly promise night to come close to the club when it was weekly.
3- eddies debut. fucking hell
4- never forget my first ever one, john kelly playing and only being £7 in. how different is the night now??
5- first ever trance classics, richard playing 5hrs and pav the percussionist playing with him. skydive
6- Sir Guy's sets when he used to play regular, Legend
7 - Richards 'back in the day' warm up sets. they were made me love prog
8- all the mates ive met through the night, far too many to mention

My 1st Ever night at promise. Loved it. Came up from Darlington for the night with my boyfriend at the time. Our parents wouldnt let us see each other so we were spending secrect time with each other, telling them we were stayin with mates.

We got the train up, i was really nervous. then getting out of the taxi outside foundation, the strap on my bag broke. Nervous and upset, i went to the toilets where i met a girl who had a bag full of safety pins. She fixed my bag and sent me out to have fun. Dr. Flutterbye, my safety pin angel.

Had a fantastic night. Met some more lovely people and started friendships that lasted through my entire clubbing life.

Was worried i would fall asleep on the train home as id never danced like that in my life. But i didnt, i just wanted more.

Went back once more from darlington then moved to newcastle and became a regular at Promise. then went on to work at foundation offering the best damn cloakroom service you could ask for.

That was my best promise moment. The whole of that 1st night.
