If its who I'm thinking does he produce very soulful/ambient jazz type stuff... quite electronic sounding? if it is never heard his big band stuff - can u recommend any tracks?

Yeah he makes a lot of wierd electronica. His girlfreind is the amazin Dani Sciliano whos album was just out on K7. I havent actually heard much of his big band solo stuff but he's done a couple of lush remixes. There playing at the live theater next month if you fancy it. i asked lister but its not his style.
