I reckon you just sometimes get a good batch, and sometimes a shit batch. They're pretty much on a par these days with what they were like 5yrs ago imo.

like iv said before i know someone who had hundreds swallowed in his gut and the condom or whatever was used burst, he went to the doctors expecting to get his guts pumped but they just said go and lie down and drink plenty of water, he was fine

They will be going through their 'esctacy honeymoon' man, it lasts normally about 12-18 months when all you want to do is get smashed though after a while the novelty wears off and you normally start cutting down.

I went through it a few years ago but it got to the point where it was affecting my old job and probably was starting to fuck with my head, so i had about 6 months off when i found a new job ect.

Since then i havent once let it affect my work and fair enough i am still a fan of 'lost weekends' once a month or so with my mates when i do get fairly hammered, i just make sure ive got plenty of time to recover afterwards and usually now take the monday off too if its going to be particuarly heavy (like today )

There isnt anything you can really say to anyone to make them calm down, some 'non-clubbing' mates tried to get me to calm down when i went through it though i didnt listen and doubt your mates will either, its upto them to find out for themselves and wait for the novelty to wear off. As long as they are being sensible drinking plently water etc, when they are on them the chances of anything bad happening are fairly slim.

All you can do is give them your advice without forcing your views on them and wait for them to realise for themselves imo, just making sure they are being as sensible as possible while they are out taking loads of them.
