    What kind of shops? If you say clothes shops you deserve a slap!

    I'd say Sunderland has quite a good selection of shops and the clothes shops COMPLEMENT the better ones in Newcastle and vice versa.

    Eh?!?!?! All the shite places in Newcastle get rammed with kids too!!! If you go to the shite places it will be shite but the rest of Sunderland is a decent night out. I agree it isn't as good as Newcastle for certain types of nights out but it isn't SHITE as you put it.
